DevDocu AI is a productivity application developed and operated by DevStudio (Ali Houlaihel), an individual developer. This Privacy Policy explains how I collect, use, and protect your information when you use this mobile application. By using DevDocu AI, you agree to the terms of this policy.

Authentication Information

When you create an account or sign in to DevDocu AI, I collect your email address and profile information through Google Firebase Authentication. This information is securely stored and used to provide you with personalized access to your account.

Device Information

I may collect non-personally identifiable device information such as device model, operating system version, and app version to improve app performance and fix bugs.

Usage Data

I collect anonymous usage statistics to understand how users interact with the app. This helps me improve features and user experience.

Local Processing

DevDocu AI is designed with privacy-first principles. Many of the tools process your data locally on your device whenever possible, including:

• Smart Scanner - Images are processed on-device
• OCR Text Extraction - Text recognition occurs locally
• PDF Editor - All editing happens on your device
• Document Signing - Signatures and stamps are processed locally
• Voice Features - Speech processing occurs on-device

Your sensitive documents are never uploaded to cloud storage. All document processing occurs on your device, ensuring maximum privacy.

Third-Party Services

Google Firebase Authentication

I use Google Firebase Authentication for user sign-in and account management. Firebase securely handles authentication and stores your account credentials. Firebase complies with industry-standard security practices and privacy regulations.

Google AdMob

The free version of DevDocu AI displays advertisements through Google AdMob. AdMob may collect anonymous data such as device identifier, location (coarse), and app usage patterns to serve relevant advertisements. AdMob uses cookies and similar technologies for this purpose. Upgrading to VIP removes all advertisements.

Google Gemini API

The "Ask AI Copilot" feature sends your text queries to Google's Gemini API for processing. This data is processed in real-time and is not stored or retained by Google for training purposes. I do not use this data to train or improve public AI models.

Native Device APIs

Voice recognition and text-to-speech features use your device's native speech APIs. This processing occurs on-device and is handled by your operating system.

Data Sharing

I do NOT sell, trade, or rent your personal data to third parties.

I may share your data only in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who perform services on my behalf (e.g., Firebase, Google, AdMob) only as necessary to provide the services
• To comply with legal obligations such as court orders or government requests
• To protect my rights and prevent fraud or abuse of the app
